UFC Undisputed Fight Nation Comes to Facebook

Beat your friends on Facebook now
As Dragon Age Legends Facebook tie in enters closed beta, THQ has launched the Facebook version of its UFC cash cow. Dubbed UFC Undisputed Fight Nation, the game will now allow you to engage your friends in freestyle martial arts that involves brutal, no-holds-barred cage fighting otherwise known as Mixed Martial arts.
Just don’t expect this to be a skill based, mano-a-mano fighting game. No, in the casual world of Facebook, concession has to be made for a wide gamut of young, old, and otherwise twitch challenged demographic. So UFC Undisputed Fight Nation will instead involve the same levelling and transaction mechanics found in other Facebook games like Farmville; albeit here you’ll be beating the crap out of your friends.
By ‘you’ I mean your fighters, because you’re only allowed to watch the labour of the time and money you invest in levelling up your fighters. Yes, you heard it right – money. The fighters level up with training sessions, where they learn new moves at the cost of their “energy” reserves. The money part comes in for those who don’t want to wait for their fighters’ energy reserves fill up over time. The game gives you an option of buying energy with Facebook points, which is virtual currency with the exchange rate of $1 for 10 points.
