Paste Your Favorite Cartoon Character On Your Facebook Profile

Facebook has supposedly begun a new campaign by requesting users to post photos of cartoon characters on their profile instead of their original Photos.
In a bid to create awareness on violence against children and todiscourage it, social networking site has begun a campaign that has asked users to replace their profile photos with their favorite cartoon characters.
Facebook posted the following message
“Change your profile picture to your favorite cartoon from when you were a kid. The goal of this game is not to see a human picture on Facebook, but an invasion of childhood memories until Monday. PLAY AND PASS ALONG!”
Later Facebook explained via a new message, why they were encouraging users to post photos of cartoon characters from their childhood memories
“From now until December 7, change your profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood. The objective of this is not to see any human faces on Facebook but an invasion of memories for the fight against Violence to Children. Remember we were kids too.”
Facebook users needed no further incentive and have begun digging deep into their childhood memories, in a frantic search for their favorite cartoon characters. Search Engines have reported that “cartoon characters from the 80s.”Rainbow Brite,” “Smurfs,” “Ren and Stimpy,” “Rugrats,” and “Doug have become popular search queries among users after the Facebook posted the post.
