Great News for E-book Worms From Google

Surpassing all technical and legal obstacles, Google is all set to launch its e-book store this month which was originally scheduled to bela8unched this year’s summer. With an aim to have a singular platform for e-reading, this launch enables the readers to read online books using any browser, bypassing the need for a dedicated e-reading device presumably, any PC, tablet, or smartphone with a browser would work. However, users will be able to download books for offline reading as well, though the format is unspecified.
According to the Google editions guidelines for publishers, Google offers a 52 percent share of the revenue from book sales which is grossly lower than some other models for instance the Apple’s ibooks which gives publishers 70 percent. But once the new service works successfully it is expected to give a cut throat competition to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Apple.
