Facebook New Photos Feature To Hide Photos Of Ex-partners

Facebook’s new feature will help users hide pictures of their former lovers

If Photo’s of your past still seem to haunt you, Facebook offers a solution that will “heal the heartache”.

Facebook has re-worked on its photo memory tool that previously used to flash up random images from picture galleries that Facebook users haven’t viewed in a while, from profiles you are viewing and pictures from mutual friends. Now the feature will allow users to prevent the service from displaying pictures of people’s ex-partners on the social networking site.

The tweaking of the application means that users now won’t be confronted by pictures of the past that would have otherwise embarrassed them. But, Facebook will still rely on users for information regarding their break-ups as well as their current status.

Sam Odio, a project manager at Facebook said,” While users may still see Photo Memories of their former romantic partners if they didn’t declare their relationship on Facebook – as well as their current partner with that person’s former partners – the change should help heal the heartache for many users”
